Call for Speakers for the 2012 Student Conference & HR Games

Wisconsin SHRM!  Your assistance is requested in assisting with this year’s Student Conference & HR Games hosted by the University of Wisconsin Platteville on March 2 and 3, 2012.  We are currently in need of speakers and are reaching out to see if any of you would be interested in serving in a speaker role.  Here are the details:

• Friday, March 2 – looking for someone to lead short (20 minute) discussions on using social media (such as LinkedIn) for purposes of recruiting candidates and performing a job search.  These short discussions will be done during a few of our HR Games rounds on that Friday night.  Approximate time would be 6pm-9pm.
• Saturday, March 3 – Saturday morning break-out sessions are held from 10am-12pm.  There are two (2) one-hour sessions held at this time.  While the students remain flexible on topics, some of the current hot topics include:  Emotional Intelligence, anything to do with pointers for them on searching for jobs, 2012 workplace trends, and HR for a Global Company.
