HR Games - Volunteers Needed Announcement

JCHRMA Members,

WISHRM Council and the Student SHRM Association need your help!  The 2012 Student Conference & HR Games are being hosted by the University of Wisconsin Platteville on March 2 & 3, 2012.   The student games are great way to aid in advancing our profession and an opportunity to learn a thing or two! 

Part of the conference is the HR Games.  Student SHRM chapters from across the state form teams of 2 or 3 and compete in a jeopardy-style competition in HR-related categories!  HR Professionals are needed to help assist with the games and perform tasks such as keep time, judge, keep score and host the competition.   In the past there have been up to 20 different student teams competing and it is amazing what these students know!  The top teams go onto a National competition.  Volunteers are needed on both days of the competition.

The other part of the conference is an educational opportunity where guest speakers share and insight to a Human Resources topic.  Even though the speaker is brought in for the students you will still gain knowledge as an HR Professional.

There is no cost to attend the conference.  Lodging information is included in the registration site and is at your own expense.
