Whether you’re new to JCHRMA or a returning member, please complete a new membership form by visiting the website or email

Don’t forget about the many benefits for being a member:

    • Monthly meetings with learning sessions – program topics on current issues are selected for the Human Resources/Employment field.

    • An email “question and answer” forum – Members can submit questions to be routed to all members for feedback. This is an opportunity to share HR expertise and learn from other HR professionals via e-mail.

    • Certifications - Our chapter supports its members who want to obtain or advance their certification in the HR Profession. If your employer does not pay for your PHR / SPHR / GPHR / SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification(s), JCHRMA will offer a one-time reimbursement to pay for the application processing fee and exam fee.

    • Chapter members interested in a reimbursement may contact JCHRMA’s Certification Chair to apply.

      • Reimbursement does not include late application fees, transfer fees, or retest fees. Chapter members are not eligible to re-apply after discontinuation and reinstatement of membership or for a separate certification. Offer is valid only if the employer does not pay and only once per lifetime, for each member.

    • Are you studying for your exam? JCHRMA has FREE studying material to use. Contact the chapter’s Certification Chair to check out the materials today. And remember, other members have their certification. Networking can help you through the process.

    • Monthly legal update - monthly legal updates by our Legislative Chair, Bob Gregg, from Boardman Law Firm.
