About the Presentation
The laws and technology keep changing. HR professionals are challenged to keep up.
This annual program provides a review of the most significant employment law issues of this year and a forecast of the trends and hot topics to expect.
Topics will include:
- Recent Laws
- Coming Attractions and Trends: A "heads up" on the coming wage and hour rules changes, FMLA notices, new language in your Handbooks, and other emerging employment law issues.
- Significant Recent Cases: FMLA; regulation of employee social networking; discrimination; employment contracts; privacy, personal liability and the most unusual cases of the year. About the Presenter
Bob Gregg, co-chair of the Labor and Employment Group at Boardman & Clark Law Firm in Madison, Wisconsin, has been representing employers for over 30 years in a wide variety of litigation, including EEOC discrimination claims, wage and hour suits, FMLA, NLRA, equal pay, contract and Unemployment Compensation cases. He has designed the employment handbooks and effective workplace policies for numerous private and public employers. Bob has conducted over 2,000 supervisory training programs throughout the United States. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, SHRM, and a national faculty member of the American Association for Access, Equity & Diversity Certification Institute. Boardman & Clark is the Legislative Sponsor for Wisconsin SHRM. Bob is the legislative board member for JCHRMA.
